HIWIN linear guideways provides linear motion by re-circulating rolling elements between a profiled rail and a bearing block.
The coefficient of friction on a linear guideway is only 1/50 compared to a traditional slide and they are able to take loads in all directions. With these features, a linear guideway can achieve high precision and greatly enhanced moving accuracy.

INA linear ball bearing and guideway assemblies represent the most extensive and complex group within the range of monorail guidance systems.
They are used where linear guidance systems with high load-carrying capacity and rigidity must move heavy loads with high running and positional accuracy as well as low friction. The guidance systems are preloaded and are suitable for long, unlimited stroke lengths.

THK each row of balls is placed at a contact angle of 45 degree so that the rated loads applied to the LM block are uniform in the four directions (radial, reverse radial and lateral directions), enabling the LM Guide to be used in all orientations. Use of the ball cage eliminates friction between balls and increases grease retention, thus to achieve low noise, high speed and long-term maintenance-free operation.

IKO linear guides have two rows of balls that contact the raceway at four points.
Despite its very small body, it provides consistent accuracy and rigidity even in applications where the direction and magnitude of the load is variable or where complex loads are applied. The stainless steel specification as the base model is available in a variety of shapes and sizes, depending on the application.
